Mission
The mission of the NCLEX® Program Reports is to provide pre-licensure nursing education programs with a detailed description of the performance of their graduates on the NCLEX® Examination. All nurse educators are encouraged to use the NCLEX® Program in the following ways.
- Evaluate Program Effectiveness: The Summary Overview provides the pass rate for a program’s graduates’ during specific reporting periods.
- Identify Areas for Improvement: The NCLEX® Test Plan and Content Dimension Reports help pre-licensure programs identify the strengths and opportunities of their graduates’ performance using common nursing frameworks.
- Prepare Graduates to take the NCLEX® Examination: The Test Duration Report provides information on the number of items administered and the total time spent. This information can help students set realistic expectations of their test taking experience.
